The club has entered teams into three Welsh Indoor Bowls Competitions for the 2025/26 season. All the teams are mixed so ladies are very welcome. 

Selection for Championship and/or Merit teams will be carried out by one selection committee in conjunction with the team captains. 
We appreciate and accept that some players may prefer to only play for one of the teams. However we are also hopeful of developing a strong large squad, with a number of players interchanging between teams based on form and developmental decisions.

We are hoping to hold a pre-season trial match on October 4th for any players interested in playing for the Championship and/or Merit teams
 
WELSH CHAMPIONSHIP (DIVISION 1)
This is a 6 rink of fours competition played against six other clubs on a home and away basis. There will be 12 matches played at 2pm on Saturdays from October to March, with around two matches per month. We will also be entering the Welsh Knock-out Cup played on Sundays.
 
MERIT LEAGUE
This is usually a 4 rink of fours competition played on the same lines as the Championship. There are 18 matches scheduled for the coming season to be played over the 6 months on Saturdays with mainly 2pm starts but sometimes earlier. 
 
WELSH OVER 60s CHAMPIONSHIP
The club have entered two teams,  named Swansea and Abertawe.  Players can only play for one of the Over 60s teams throughout the season.
This is a 4 rink of fours competition. There are qualifying groups played against three or four other clubs home and away, normally midweek at 12 or 2pm.
 
Members can put themselves forward for the Championship , Merit and one of the Over 60s teams.
 
Team bowls is a great way to get to know other club members, meet people from other clubs and play at different venues.
Many players improve as a result of playing competitive team bowls and increase their enjoyment of the sport. 
Whilst the obvious aim of the teams is to win matches, there is ample opportunity to select players for developmental reasons.
If you play in the club leagues please consider trying team bowls and put yourself forward for consideration.
